You should sample double-mark, selecting mark points within the same band from different teaching sets. The double marking should continue until you are satisfied that you have achieved comparability. Small schools with only one teacher need not carry out internal standardisation.
It is helpful to include a covering note with your sample explaining that you are in this situation. You should not attempt to grade the work; you should be marking the work by applying the marking criteria in a consistent manner. The controlled assessment and coursework grades will be awarded at the end of each examination series using the standard code of practice awarding process.
To receive a result for a linear qualification, all of the marks achieved from different components are added together and the candidate receives a grade for the qualification. There is no need for a uniform mark scale - a single grade is issued to each candidate.
A score of zero should only be used if a candidate has submitted work that is found to meet none of the assessment criteria. An X should be used for any candidate who is absent.
For performing you should submit the scaled mark out of 60 and for composing you should submit the raw mark out of Please do not try to double the mark or convert it into a percentage, grade or UMS mark. You may need to amend your Edexcel Online access to allow you to submit controlled assessment marks online.
After submitting marks online you should print out a copy of the marks for the moderator and a copy for your own records. You also need to send the work of the highest- and lowest-scoring candidates if they are not part of the requested sample.
You should also write a note to the moderator explaining the reason for the change. Moderators are randomly allocated to centres.
Your centre will receive a stationery send which will contain envelopes suitable for sending controlled assessment to the moderator.
Order more stationery online. You will be able to download this report on results day. What can I do? Please email musicandmusictechnology pearson. There is no requriement in the specification for the two compositions to relate to different Areas of Study or to be in contrasting styles.

I love you to bits. My daughter would think I was the best, if I got a copy. Thank you very much. Can anybody explain the marking? For the purposes of this, maybe keep thinking of as grades. The sum total of all the marks given in all assessments plus the listening exam will be calculated as a final grade.
I mentioned Killer Queen as it was on tv, i got rolled eyes, and the stage and screen will be a hoot. Renaissance and Song are another thing though. Fusion will be no problem. Composing, absolutely no problem. Likely to go off on one, might not fully understand what is expected in all components, despite huge intervention,.
